We, the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago, demand the immediate withdrawal of the proposed
property tax and the repeal of any associative or underpinning law.

Our properties are already taxed through stamp duty, and have been purchased with money
taxed repeatedly.

We believe the government needs to rethink this failed strategy of financing the country from
the citizens’ bank accounts.

Until there is transparency and accountability in the administration of the national finances and
value for the taxes we already pay, we the people, by our signatures here, say NO to ANY new taxes.
